Jiro

Jiro (ジロ) is a female ghoul and one of the loyal companions of Kazuichi Banjou, the former leader of the 11th ward's ghouls. She is rarely seen apart from her brothers, Ichimi and Sante, and joined the group led by Ken Kaneki alongside them. Jiro typically wears a two-filter gas mask and a hoodie marked with the number two, hiding a bob cut of light auburn hair beneath the hood.

Like her siblings, she has a playful, teasing temperament and often needles Banjou, yet she is also honest and deeply devoted, especially where her old leader is concerned. The trio first appeared accompanying Banjou, whose one-sided admiration for Rize Kamishiro they candidly revealed. As part of Anti-Aogiri, they took part in the escape from the Aogiri Tree's custody before following Banjou into Kaneki's group.

Jiro assisted in the hunt for Akihiro Kanou and in clashes against CCG investigators. When the group dissolved, she and her brothers vowed to keep following Banjou wherever he went. In the epilogue, Jiro became his wife, with Shuu Tsukiyama organizing their traditional ghoul wedding. In the Tokyo Ghoul anime she is voiced by Reina Ueda, with Whitney Rodgers providing the English dub.
