Synopsis
Kikyo Zoldyck is the wife of Silva, mother to all five Zoldyck children and an elite professional assassin in her own right. Like the rest of the family, she can open the estate's Testing Gates.
Black-haired and pale, she stands 170 centimetres tall and wears a dark purple bustle gown with a broad-brimmed hat trimmed in feathers, fur and flowers, with bullets for earrings. An electronic visor covers her eyes and doubles as a communication device; for part of the story her face is bandaged after an attack by Killua.
Her maternal side sits uneasily beside genuine cruelty. She is easily exasperated by Zeno, keeps a give-and-take relationship with her eldest son Illumi, and had no qualms about testing Alluka's power on innocent people — which almost certainly killed them. She is the one who knocked out Canary for speaking loosely about the family, and who explained to Gon that Killua's confinement was self-imposed.
She is voiced by Junko Iwao in the 2011 adaptation and Rena Yukie in the 1999 one.
