Synopsis
Emi Yusa, born Emilia Justina, is a half-human, half-angel Hero who once defeated the Demon King Satan. Pursuing her enemy all the way to Earth, she too lost most of her power upon arrival and was forced to take a job as a call-center operator.
Strong-willed and determined, Emilia carries a pure sense of duty to protect the innocent, though her confidence often wavers and her temper flares easily. Her father's death at the hands of Lucifer's army was what first pushed her to train as a Hero, and ever since she has viewed all demons as enemies — none more than Satan himself.
She was raised alone by her father, Nord Justina, on the Western Continent, after her mother, the archangel Lailah, left the family behind for breaking a sacred taboo. On Earth, Emi grows steadily closer to her neighbor Suzuno Kamazuki and coworker Chiho Sasaki, and her feelings toward her former nemesis Maou gradually grow far more complicated than plain hostility.
