Synopsis
Nord Justina, known on Earth as Hiroshi Satou, is the father of the Hero Emilia. For years he was believed to have died during the demon general Lucifer's assault on the Western Continent, though this later turns out to be false.
A humble farmer from a village on the Western Continent, Nord raised his daughter alone, reassuring her fears about the encroaching demon army with promises that the Church would protect them. It was Nord who eventually told the twelve-year-old Emilia the truth about her angelic mother and about her own destiny to become the Hero who could defeat the Demon King.
The archangel Lailah, Emilia's mother, had hidden Nord from the other angels because he carried the other half of a sacred paired sword. Though his daughter long believed him dead, it was his quiet, reassuring words that first made her look up to him as a hero in his own right.
