Synopsis
Rika Suzuki is Emi Yusa's coworker at the Docodemo call center. Originally from Kobe, where her family runs a small factory, she moved to Tokyo right after graduating high school, after her grandmother arranged a marriage to the son of an influential businessman to help save the family business.
Kind, sincere, and unfailingly friendly, Rika genuinely looks out for Emi, though her curiosity occasionally shades into naivety — it's what once leads her to arrange a meeting to sort out Emi's relationship with Sadao Maou, whom she mistakenly assumes is Emi's love interest.
A survivor of the 1995 Kobe earthquake, Rika grew tired of awkward questions about her hometown and prefers not to bring it up. She is also noted to carry a slight crush on Shirō Ashiya, though he remains oblivious to her feelings.
