Synopsis
Toshiya Miike is a violinist and Kurumi-Gaoka High School student, a recurring rival on the competition circuit in Your Lie in April. He is quick to feel jealous, resenting Kaori Miyazono for stealing attention at the Towa competition even though he beat her there, and later growing just as jealous when Kousei Arima performs a duet with Nagi Aiza.
Hearing Kousei play at the gala concert changes something in him, and Miike goes on to genuinely admire him, calling him the greatest pianist around. That doesn't soften his pride or his bluntness, though: later on he has no issue criticizing a fellow competitor for minor mistakes, and any praise directed at Nagi still visibly irritates him.
He has brown hair and small brown eyes, and is commonly seen in his school uniform, wearing a pair of slanted glasses.
