Synopsis
Nagi Aiza is the younger sister of Takeshi Aiza and a piano student of Kousuke Oka. She originally asks to study under Hiroko Seto, who instead makes her Kousei Arima's very first student.
Nagi is stubborn, somewhat childish, and more calculating than she lets on: confident in her own playing to the point of arrogance, she has little patience for anyone who addresses their seniors without proper respect. Above all, she is fixated on her older brother — by her own admission she is always chasing after him, and that need to be noticed by Takeshi is what drives her to follow in his footsteps.
To get a chance to study with Hiroko, Nagi even engineers a risky scheme against Kousei that leaves her hurt and has him carry her to Hiroko's house. After hearing her play, Hiroko agrees to teach her but hands the lessons over to Kousei instead — a decision that frustrates them both at first, though Nagi eventually warms to her new teacher and comes to admire him.
She is a pretty, petite girl with blonde pigtails and golden-brown eyes, usually seen in her school uniform.
