Synopsis
Takeshi Aiza is the older brother of Nagi Aiza and a high-school pianist whose rivalry with Kousei Arima drives much of his arc. He is blunt and straightforward, openly hostile toward Kousei at first — a hostility later revealed to be admiration, since Takeshi once looked up to him as something of a hero.
Before the story begins, Takeshi and Emi Igawa are shown discussing their loss to the seemingly emotionless Kousei at a competition, which is what sets off his drive to train relentlessly and surpass him. His resentment flares up again later when Kousei plays a duet with Takeshi's own younger sister.
He is a tall boy with spiky blond hair, blue eyes, and a mostly stoic expression, seen alternating between a sharp blue formal suit and more casual clothes.
