Synopsis
Stephanie Dola is the granddaughter of Elkia's last king before Sora and Shiro's arrival, and the one who keeps the kingdom's day-to-day government running while the siblings gamble with the fate of nations. After losing a card game to Sora, one of the Ten Covenants' binding pledges forces her to fall for him — something she spends much of the story loudly resenting, even as her feelings prove to outlast the pledge's supposed expiry.
Steph is proud, quick to act without thinking things through, and wears every emotion on her face, which makes her hopeless at bluffing but easy to trust. She is also, underneath the theatrics, genuinely capable: top of her class at school, fluent in the region's noble politics, and skilled enough at cards to be called Imanity's strongest gambler after Blank itself. What she cannot forgive is anyone mocking her late grandfather as a fool for the games he lost.
Running Elkia's administration falls largely on her shoulders, a burden she shares most closely with the werebeast diplomat Ino Hatsuse, with whom she has developed real trust over shared, exhausting paperwork. She counts the immortal librarian Jibril and the werebeast girl Izuna Hatsuse among her friends, and though she resents being left to handle a kingdom's affairs alone, she never once fails to do it.
