Sora is one half of the legendary online gaming duo Blank (『 』), paired with his adopted step-sister Shiro; together the two never lost a single online match before being pulled into the world of Disboard. Abandoned by his parents as a child, he grew into a reclusive but brilliant strategist who lives only for games and relies almost entirely on his sister to get through daily life. After the pair defeated the god Tet at online chess, they were transported to a world governed by the Ten Covenants, where every dispute — down to national borders — is settled by a game rather than violence.
What makes Sora dangerous at the table is not raw calculation but reading people: he studies an opponent's behaviour, motives and tells rather than crunching numbers the way Shiro does, and pairs that with a talent for negotiation he half-jokingly calls diplomacy. He can be arrogant and cutting once he senses a win, yet he is fiercely protective of the people around him and refuses to let his sister witness anything he considers inappropriate for her. Separated from Shiro for even a moment, his confidence collapses entirely.
After winning Elkia's throne for the human race, Imanity, Sora becomes its king alongside Shiro, using their combined skills to drag the kingdom back from the brink of extinction. Around him gather former rivals turned allies — the princess Stephanie Dola, who slowly begins to fall for him, and the immortal librarian Jibril, whom he first challenges for a share of her knowledge before she pledges herself to him.
