Favorite Roles: Goku and Onsokumaru One of the roles Sean originally auditioned for in Dragon Ball Z was Captain Ginyu. He was disappointed at the time when he didn't get the role and was given the role of Goku, until he realized he was voicing the lead character several episodes into production. After years as a professional classical musician, Sean Schemmel began his career in voice acting by doing voice-overs for puppet theatres.
