- Description
- Wing is a Nen trainer whose main student is Zushi. He meets Gon and Killua at the Celestial Tower. Although in the beginning he refuses to train Gon and Killua, and even lies to them about Nen's purpose, he changes his mind when they reach the 200th floor, as he realizes they could die or be badly injured from nen "initiation". For the next several months he teaches them the basics of Nen, after which he announces they have passed the secret final requirement for being a Hunter. His teacher was Biscuit Kruger.

Synopsis
Wing is a Hunter and an Assistant Master of Shingen-ryu kung fu, and the man who introduced Gon and Killua to Nen. He trained under Biscuit Krueger and rose through the school to his current rank.
He cuts an unremarkable figure — average height and build, unkempt black hair, glasses, a light pink shirt only half tucked into charcoal trousers. Biscuit recalls that as a student he was forever falling asleep and putting his clothes on inside out, and little about him has changed since.
Somewhat absent-minded and quiet in manner, Wing is nonetheless a patient and strict teacher who cares deeply about his students' potential and their safety. He will not hesitate to slap a pupil who acts recklessly. He had been training Zushi for at least nine months before he met Gon and Killua.
It was Isaac Netero who told him about the two boys after the 287th Hunter Exam — which is why Wing eventually chose to explain aura to them properly rather than keep deflecting their questions.
