Synopsis
Zushi is a young Heavens Arena fighter and the student of Wing, training in Shingen-ryu kung fu. He registered at the arena on the same day as Gon and Killua and climbed to the 50th floor alongside them.
He is an average-sized boy with short brown hair, thick eyebrows and large hazel eyes, dressed in a black turtleneck beneath a standard karate gi with a red belt.
Earnest and hardworking, Zushi is devoted to the martial arts and loyal to his master — but he has his own sense of honesty, and disliked that Wing lied to Gon and Killua about the nature of Nen when they first asked. He openly acknowledges that both boys are ahead of him, respects them enormously, and is set on reaching their level one day. He speaks in a formal, scrupulously polite register.
He is far stronger than any ordinary boy his age, flooring a 440-pound opponent with a flurry of punches to the gut; even Killua noted that his stance leaves almost no openings. Voiced by Yuka Terasaki in the 2011 series and Umi Tenjin in the 1999 one.
