Synopsis
Daiki Tomita is a student at the Hinamizawa branch school, classmate to Satoko Houjou and Rika Furude, and the best friend of Suguru Okamura. Alongside Okamura, he plays for the local Hinamizawa Fighters baseball team.
The "Watanagashi" arc of Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Kai reveals that Tomita secretly has a crush on Satoko Houjou. Because of it, he regularly lingers at school after hours in hopes of catching a glimpse of her in the costume she is forced to wear as a "punishment" during club activities.
Physically, Tomita is a thin boy with brown hair, green eyes, and glasses; the finer details of his design shift somewhat between the manga adaptations that have drawn him, but these core traits stay consistent.
