Synopsis
Joujirou Takajou is a member of Hoshinoumi Academy's Student Council, gifted with an ability that lets him move at extreme speed. Bespectacled and constantly repairing his glasses, he has an oddly specific passion for giraffes that can distract him mid-conversation at the mere mention of the word.
Joujirou is also the council's most devoted fan of idol Yusa Nishimori, able to recite the entire catalogue of her on-air "magic spells" from memory along with which broadcast each one appeared in. This encyclopedic devotion becomes complicated whenever Yusa's late sister Misa takes over her body, since he struggles to read the shift and is left torn between fanboying and concern.
Though a comic figure on the surface, Joujirou's speed ability makes him a reliable asset to the council's efforts to track down and recruit ability users throughout the series, working alongside Nao Tomori and the rest of the team.
