Synopsis
Yusa Nishimori — born Yusa Kurobane and known to fans as Yusarin — is a member of Hoshinoumi Academy's Student Council and the lead vocalist of the idol band How-Low-Hello. Blonde-haired and blue-eyed, she plays a cheerful, endlessly helpful on-air persona, famous for the recurring "magic spells" segment she performs on the show Move Asa.
Behind the idol image lies a heavier truth: Yusa's ability allows her deceased older sister Misa Kurobane to possess her body, something Yusa herself remains unaware of for much of the story. The two sisters are described as complete opposites — where Misa was rough and tomboyish, Yusa is soft-spoken and considerate — yet their bond survives even death, with Misa quietly watching over her from within.
Yusa eventually learns the truth and, together with Misa, chooses to give up their shared power to Yuu Otosaka, closing one of the series' most bittersweet subplots and allowing both sisters to move forward on their own terms.
