Synopsis
Misa Kurobane was the older sister of the idol singer Yusa Nishimori, killed in a motorcycle accident at sixteen — six months before the story begins. Loud, foul-mouthed, and famously tough, according to neighbors who say no local boy could ever beat her in a fight, she was the polar opposite of her gentle younger sister in every visible way.
What no one around her knew was that Misa shared Yusa's supernatural ability and could possess her sister's body after death, distinguishable only by sharper eyes that shift from blue to red and hair that darkens toward orange while she is in control. Despite her rough exterior, Misa deeply loved her family, protected Yusa's secret fiercely, and worried constantly that her sister remained unaware of her own power.
Her arc closes when she and Yusa willingly give up their shared ability to Yuu Otosaka, finally allowing Misa to rest and Yusa to live free of her sister's lingering presence.
