Taguchi

Taguchi is a supporting character in Tokyo Ghoul, working as a nurse at Kanou General Hospital. She is a slender young woman with brown hair, usually pulled back into a ponytail with chin-length strands clipped away from her face, and she wears the standard white nursing uniform.

Taguchi came across as gentle and attentive with her patients, noticing when something seemed off. She was the nurse assigned to Ken Kaneki, and once asked why he barely touched his food, sampling his meal herself and insisting it tasted perfectly normal. Her kindness, however, may have been a front, since she appeared aware of her employer's experiments to turn humans into ghouls.

When Kaneki's group came looking for answers, Taguchi lied that Akihiro Kanou was away at a research meeting in Germany while secretly warning him of the visit. Suspecting the deception, the group cornered her outside, but an Aogiri Tree squad soon seized her instead. After she was interrogated about Kanou's location, Tatara was shown handing Naki a severed foot that seemed to be hers, marking her death.
