Synopsis
Shaiapouf, nicknamed Pouf, was a butterfly-humanoid Chimera Ant, the second of King Meruem's three Royal Guards and one of the Chimera Ant arc's principal antagonists.
Unlike the other Guards he looked almost human: a young adult with a tall, lanky frame, thistle-purple skin and short dark blond hair covering his forehead and ears. His only insect features were multi-coloured butterfly wings and antennae. He wore a frilly white shirt, black trousers and black shoes.
Pouf presented himself as the calmest and most rational of the three, forever stressing the primacy of logic over feeling. In truth his ferocious devotion to the King clouded his judgement entirely: he held to an absolute ideal that admitted no revision, and demanded the same of Meruem. The moment he believed his lord was being led astray, it erupted into fanatical monologues and outright treachery.
Like the rest of the Guard he had no memories of a previous life, and the Queen named him herself.
His Nen abilities centre on support and indirect strategy, and they contributed enormously to the King's military strength. Colt believed Pouf capable of defeating Netero himself.
