Synopsis
Colt is a Chimera Ant Squadron Leader who first commanded the winged peons raiding NGL villages for humans to feed to the Queen. In a previous life he was a boy named Kurt — the first human the Queen ate, taken while he was trying to protect his sister Reina.
Eagle-like wings sit on his back and his feet are talons rather than feet. His face and hair read as more human than those of other male Ants, though his mouth resembles a beak; his torso is muscular while his limbs are segmented in insect fashion.
From Kurt he inherited an earnestness and a drive to protect. His devotion to the Queen was absolute and outlived her death — he is arguably the only Chimera Ant who genuinely loved her, while always staying mindful of his station. His memories of Reina persist only below conscious reach.
As a Squadron Leader he is stronger than an ordinary human or Ant soldier. He was unafraid to approach the Hunters for help, and together with Peggy was given temporary command over all Squadron Leaders. Voiced by Hirofumi Nojima.
