Synopsis
Senritsu is a Music Hunter, a bodyguard to Neon Nostrade and one of the very few people Kurapika genuinely trusts. She later becomes a royal bodyguard to Princess Kacho Hui Guo Rou.
She is a short woman with androgynous features and a stocky build, with straight silver hair falling to her shoulders and pronounced front teeth that protrude like a rodent's. In public she usually wears a hat, and always long sleeves and leggings — the Sonata of Darkness warped her body past recognition.
One night changed her life. After hearing a single movement of the Sonata's flute solo she was left deformed, while the friend who played the piece died as his entire body mutated. In exchange she gained supernatural hearing, able to pick out sounds as faint as a heartbeat.
She is kind and generally calm, and between her hearing and her natural astuteness she is extraordinarily attuned to what other people feel. Her goal is to find the Sonata's sheet music and destroy it so that nobody else suffers the same fate.
She holds a particular affection for Kurapika and looks out for him, entirely undeterred by his warning that he would kill her if she exposed his secret. It was by his heartbeat that she exposed Squala. Voiced by Miina Tominaga in the 2011 series and Tarako in the 1999 one.
