Synopsis
Neon Nostrade is the daughter of Mafia boss Light Nostrade and a Specialist whose fortune-telling ability made the family powerful. She is the client Kurapika is hired to protect.
In the 2011 adaptation she has blue hair tied back with a yellow bow and wears a pink-and-red striped top over a plain white dress with oversized purple shoes; the 1999 version gives her pink hair and a pink-and-white dress.
Neon is spoiled and self-centred, throwing tantrums whenever she is denied something. Her indifference to other people comes less from malice than from a childlike inability to grasp emotions beyond her own. Barred from attending the Underground Auction, she staged an enormous scene — and her father eventually sent her home.
While her father headed a Mafia clan she held authority over his employees and access to his wealth, and her reputation earned the family the goodwill of the Ten Dons. That influence almost certainly ended when she lost her power. Voiced by Kana Ueda in the 2011 series and Yuko Maekawa in the 1999 one.
