Synopsis
Rikako Oryo is a student at Oso Academy whose serene popularity conceals a genuinely sinister mind. Beneath her poise she is fascinated by cruelty — she counts Shakespeare's bloodiest play, Titus Andronicus, among her favorites — and channels that fascination into her art, sculpting the brutalized female body as her chosen subject.
Her father, Roichi Oryo, was once a celebrated artist whose spirit was broken once the Sibyl System made his kind of self-expression obsolete; Rikako reveres his memory and blames society for his decline. Under the secret guidance of Shogo Makishima, working undercover at the academy as a teacher, she turns that grief into violence, murdering four classmates — including her friend Yoshika Okubo, whom she first seduces — and preserving their bodies through plastination as grotesque tributes to her father's unrecognized genius.
Her crime coefficient ranks among the highest ever recorded, and her partnership with Makishima ends only when he, disillusioned with what she has become, abandons her to face the consequences alone.
