Synopsis
Igor Neuhaus is an Upper First-Class Exorcist holding the Aria, Doctor, and Tamer meister titles, and a lecturer at True Cross Academy. A survivor of the Blue Night, he lost his left eye and, briefly possessed by Satan himself, was forced to kill his own family with his own hands.
The trauma left Igor with an unshakable hatred for Satan and anything connected to him, including a firm belief that Rin Okumura, as Satan's son, is irredeemably evil and must be destroyed. Ironically, he remains deeply loyal to Mephisto Pheles, another of Satan's children, and has proven willing to set aside his hostility toward Rin when Mephisto directly asks him to.
Igor's devotion to his lost family, particularly his wife Michelle Neuhaus, shapes much of his later actions, as he continues to grapple with grief and guilt over events he had no control over during the Blue Night.
