Najenda

Najenda is the commander of Night Raid, a former Imperial general who defected to the Revolutionary Army after growing disillusioned with the Empire's corruption. She lost her right eye and right arm — now replaced with a mechanical prosthetic — in the battle that followed her defection, fought against her former colleague Esdeath.

Sharp-minded and level-headed, Najenda leads with a firm but fair hand, earning the loyalty of every member of Night Raid despite her tendency toward terrible puns. She originally carries the humanoid Teigu Susanoo before passing it on to Mine. Though she remains publicly unreadable about her feelings, she is aware of the long-standing devotion of Night Raid member Lubbock, and his eventual death leaves a quiet mark on her.
