Mine

Mine is a sharp-tongued sniper of Night Raid, famous within the group for her quick temper and her self-declared title of Genius Sniper. She wields the Teigu Pumpkin, a rifle that channels her own life force into devastating shots. Raised on the Empire's western border, she endured years of discrimination for her mixed heritage, which pushed her to join the Revolutionary Army in hopes of building a country where such prejudice no longer exists.

Initially prickly toward the newly recruited Tatsumi, Mine gradually opens up, and the two eventually fall in love. She also shares a close bond with fellow assassin Sheele, whose death in battle leaves a lasting mark on her. Beneath her cold exterior, Mine cares deeply for her comrades, and her growth from an isolated, guarded fighter into someone capable of trust and affection is one of the series' quieter arcs.
