Synopsis
Olba Meyer is a rogue Archbishop of the Church of Ente Isla who betrayed the Hero Emilia and briefly allied with the demon general Lucifer in a plot to kill both her and the Demon King. When the scheme fails, he is forced into hiding.
It was Olba who originally took the young Emi under his wing and trained her to become the Hero destined to defeat the Demon King. At the same time, he worked closely with the Church's corrupt leadership, hunting down anyone branded a heretic, including members of the Allied Knights Order.
As the superior of the former Inquisitor Suzuno Kamazuki, Olba routinely handed her brutal assignments meant to eliminate the Church's enemies — long before it emerged that he himself had conspired with the very enemy he claimed to be fighting.
