Synopsis
Tomohiko Kazami is a class representative alongside Yukari Sakuragi and later works closely with the countermeasures group led by Izumi Akazawa. Calm and serious for his age, he has been best friends with Naoya Teshigawara since childhood, sitting near him in class and sharing much of his history.
Tomohiko is quietly suspicious of Kouichi Sakakibara from the start, and after Yukari's death he grows openly resentful, holding Kouichi responsible for bringing misfortune into the class. That resentment hardens considerably over the following months, especially once more classmates begin to die.
A violent falling-out with Naoya during the class trip, born from a tragic misunderstanding, marks a turning point for Tomohiko, and what follows shows just how far his fear and grief have pushed him. It falls to Izumi, of all people, to finally stop him, in a confrontation that leaves few in the class untouched.
