Synopsis
Father Shiro Fujimoto was the 251st Paladin of the True Cross Order and the adoptive father of Rin and Yukio Okumura. Created in Section 13 as a clone of the demon king Azazel, Shiro escaped the facility and met the orphaned exorcist Yuri Egin, whom he later fell in love with and, after her death, raised her twin sons as his own.
Despite holding the Church's highest combat rank, Shiro showed genuine compassion toward demons, befriending the cat sidhe Kuro and treating Rin with warmth rather than suspicion over his demonic blood. When Satan possessed him during an attack meant to reclaim Rin, Shiro briefly broke free of the possession to take his own life rather than let Satan use his body against his sons.
Gruff, occasionally immature, but fiercely protective, Shiro's influence shaped both brothers profoundly — Rin inherited his warmth and impulsiveness, while Shura Kirigakure, another of his students, carries forward his blunt, no-nonsense mentorship style.
