Synopsis
Shura Kirigakure is an Upper First-Class Exorcist holding the Knight, Aria, Doctor, and Tamer meister titles, and the last living descendant of the ninja Tatsuko Kirigakure. Officially an inspector for the Vatican, she infiltrated True Cross Academy first as a student under the alias Yamada and later returned as a teacher for the Exwire class, becoming the mentor of Rin Okumura.
Trained from a young age by the priest Shiro Fujimoto, who pulled her away from a troubled path, Shura remained fiercely loyal to him even as she needled him constantly, and she carries that same blunt, teasing loyalty into her mentorship of Rin.
Laid-back, foul-mouthed, and fond of drinking, Shura projects an easygoing image that masks real competence: she is unafraid to challenge her superiors and can turn sharply serious in combat, as shown when she duels Amaimon and correctly reads how Rin's fear destabilizes his demonic flames.
