Eto

Eto is the founding leader of the terrorist organization Aogiri Tree, formed in the decade of silence after her first, devastating rampage as a young ghoul. Publicly she poses as a bestselling human novelist, while secretly she is the One-Eyed Owl, an SSS-rated ghoul and the half-human, half-ghoul daughter of Anteiku's manager, Yoshimura, and a human woman.

Sadistic and coolly manipulative, Eto takes open pleasure in others' suffering and shows no hesitation about killing humans or ghouls alike. Her sharp read on people's fears and desires makes her a dangerous strategist, one who spends years quietly orchestrating events from the shadows — including guiding Ken Kaneki toward the power he needs to become the next One-Eyed King.

Raised apart from her father by the ghoul known as Noro after Yoshimura sent her away to protect her from the organization V, Eto grows up resenting the world that hunted her family, and her long campaign against the CCG is driven as much by that inherited grievance as by raw destructive impulse.
