Synopsis
Takumi Aldini is a 92nd-generation Tōtsuki student and, for a time, the 7th seat of the Elite Ten Council, born to Japanese-Italian parents and raised in Florence at Trattoria Aldini, his family's restaurant. He began learning to cook from his father at age five and quickly proved the more talented of the two Aldini twins, a gift that made him the restaurant's most requested chef.
Hot-blooded and proud of his family's name, Takumi holds a fierce, largely one-sided rivalry with Sōma Yukihira and hates losing more than almost anyone else in his generation. He is fiercely protective of his younger twin brother Isami Aldini, and any insult directed at Isami's talent is one Takumi takes as a personal attack.
He and Isami traveled together to Japan to attend Tōtsuki Culinary Academy on their uncle's recommendation, carrying a bottle of the family's olive oil as a keepsake. Takumi can also hold a grudge for a long time, as shown by the quiet, calculated way he prepared his revenge match against a classmate who had once sabotaged him.
