Yui Yoshioka joins Girls Dead Monster as a publicity assistant and later becomes its lead vocalist after Masami Iwasawa disappears. Hyperactive, loud, and blunt, she loves teasing the other SSS members and insists she's far smarter than she lets on.

In life she was paralyzed from the neck down after a car accident at age four and was cared for by her mother, experiencing the outside world mostly through television. That history explains her sheer joy at regaining full mobility in the afterlife, where she throws herself into every activity she was once denied.

At the school she grows close to Hideki Hinata, trading constant banter and wrestling holds with him. When it turns out her last regret was never getting married, Hinata helps her live out an imagined wedding, finally letting her move on.
