Wave

Wave is a former Imperial Navy officer recruited into the Jaegers for his skill with the armored Teigu Grand Chariot. Raised in a coastal town far from the Capital, he arrives largely unaware of just how deep the Empire's corruption runs, and his down-to-earth, easygoing nature makes him something of the normal one among his more eccentric squadmates.

Wave forms close bonds with fellow Jaegers Bols and Run, and grows especially close to Kurome, whom he eventually marries. As he witnesses more of the atrocities carried out in the Empire's name and loses comrades to the war, his loyalty to the regime he once served without question begins to crack, setting him on a path that pulls him away from the Jaegers by the story's end.
