Kurome

Kurome is Akame's younger sister and a member of the Jaegers, the Empire's elite squad formed to counter Night Raid. Sold into the same brutal assassin program as her sister, she was placed in a lower-tier unit and, unlike Akame, was pumped full of experimental combat drugs that boosted her strength at the cost of her lifespan. She wields the Teigu Yatsufusa, which lets her reanimate the corpses of fallen fighters as loyal puppet soldiers.

Kurome shares her sister's social awkwardness and hearty appetite, but where Akame is guarded, Kurome can be unsettlingly attached to her collection of eternal companions. Beneath the coldness, she deeply fears being seen as a liability and is haunted by her drug-shortened future. She eventually falls for and marries fellow Jaeger Wave, whose steady kindness helps pull her away from the Empire she was raised to serve.
