Synopsis

Pakunoda was member #9 of the Phantom Troupe, a childhood friend of Chrollo Lucilfer and a native of Meteor City. She ranked eleventh in physical strength within the group — but strength was never what she was valued for.

She was a tall, slender woman with long, pointed features, short straight blonde hair reaching her neck and a pronounced aquiline nose. Her expression was mostly apathetic; in her youth her hair was shorter and her face kinder and happier. She wore a dark purple suit cut low and a pair of flat pink shoes.

Pakunoda projected a self-confidence that others could find intimidating. Her loyalty to Chrollo was absolute — enough that she broke the Troupe's own rule that the group's survival outweighs any individual's, the leader included, in order to save him.

Even as a child her comrades noticed how well she read people, as though she could hear their thoughts; Chrollo said she "read them like a book". Her abilities were psychometry and Memory Bomb: she drew memories out by touch and could pass them on to others.

In the end she sacrificed herself so that her comrades would learn about Kurapika's abilities. Voiced by Romi Park in the 2011 series and Yoshiko Iseki in the 1999 one.
