Chrollo Lucilfer

Chrollo Lucilfer is the founder and leader of the Phantom Troupe, a thief with a Class-A bounty whom the Spiders simply call Danchō — the boss. Like the group's core, he comes from Meteor City.

He is a young man with black hair and grey eyes, recognisable by the cross-shaped tattoo on his forehead and a pair of orb-shaped earrings. He wears a dark purple coat trimmed with white fur at the collar and wrists, left unbuttoned over a muscular frame, with a golden St. Peter's Cross and two horns printed on the back.

Chrollo is calm, intelligent and charismatic — a natural leader who holds the Troupe together despite the volatile personalities in it. He is a formidable strategist and entirely confident in his own combat ability. He is never without at least two of his own nearby, which is exactly why Hisoka found him so hard to reach. Once he has admired the treasures he targets, he sells them all.

Most of the Spiders regard him as their strongest; Machi ranks him cleanly above Hisoka. His fighting style pairs speed with lethal precision and adapts to whoever is in front of him.

His Nen ability is Skill Hunter, which steals other people's techniques and files them inside his book. Voiced by Mamoru Miyano in the 2011 series and Yoshikazu Nagano in the 1999 one.
