Synopsis
Nii-chan is a Greenman and the familiar of Shiemi Moriyama, bonded to her during her first Tamer aptitude test at the cram school. Cheerful and instantly affectionate, he took to perching on Shiemi's head from the moment they met.
Fiercely protective, Nii-chan has repeatedly used his plant-based abilities to shield Shiemi and her friends from harm, growing medicinal aloe to treat a wound one of her classmates suffered from a demon attack and raising defensive barriers of gnarled wood when danger threatens the group.
Beyond his role as guardian, Nii-chan has also helped Shiemi care for others close to her, including tending to injuries Rin Okumura sustained during a confrontation. His playful, gentle presence has become one of the steadying comforts in Shiemi's life since she began attending True Cross Academy.
