Synopsis
Ayato Naoi is the former Vice President of the afterlife school's student council who declares himself God and takes over as President once Kanade Tachibana is removed from office. He rules with an iron fist, using hypnosis to control the school's NPC students and violently suppressing any resistance.
After Yuzuru Otonashi talks him into reconsidering his methods, Naoi defects to the SSS. He keeps his sharp tongue and mocking attitude toward most of his new comrades — with the notable exception of Otonashi, toward whom he shows near-unconditional loyalty — and becomes a running source of comic friction within the group, especially with Hideki Hinata.
