Synopsis
Ikumi Mito is a 92nd-generation Tōtsuki student and a member of the Don RS club, best known as a meat specialist and once nicknamed the Meat General. Born into the Mito family, which built its fortune distributing meat across Japan, she was raised to be tough and unsentimental; her father once destroyed a childhood gift because he believed weakness had no place in the family's successor.
Ikumi carried that hardness into Tōtsuki, initially flaunting her status and aligning herself with Erina Nakiri's faction, helping to shut down clubs Erina deemed unnecessary. That changed after she lost a Shokugeki to Sōma Yukihira, whose Chaliapin steak-don revealed a softer side of her she rarely shows anyone else.
Since then, Ikumi has become one of Sōma's most reliable allies, offering her knowledge whenever he asks, even though she often misreads his requests as being meant for her alone. She holds a mild, unspoken crush on him and grows visibly flustered whenever anyone points it out.
