Synopsis

Merlin is the Boar's Sin of Gluttony and widely regarded as the greatest sorcerer in Britannia, though the name Merlin itself is only an alias for a true name humans cannot pronounce. Her Sacred Treasure, the floating orb Aldan, amplifies spells cast through her inherent power Infinity, letting her manipulate time, space and matter on a scale few other characters can match.

Calm to the point of seeming detached, Merlin rarely loses her composure and treats even the most dangerous situations as problems to be solved methodically. She is openly fascinated by anything rare or mysterious, from the powers of other fighters to the Demon Clan itself, and has a habit of using allies as test subjects for new spells, a trait that unsettles even her own captain, Meliodas.

After the Holy War, Merlin parts ways with the Seven Deadly Sins to help Arthur Pendragon rebuild the Kingdom of Camelot, and later goes into hiding with him after his throne is usurped, quietly raising their daughter from a distance through a magical puppet while continuing to shape events from the shadows.
