Synopsis
Shoot McMahon is a Hunter and the pupil of Morel McCarnathy, who insisted on joining the Chimera Ant extermination mission alongside Chairman Isaac Netero and Knov.
He is tall and slim with no eyebrows, pale skin and tired black eyes. His pink hair — olive green in the manga — is short and slicked back, with a long ponytail on the left held by a bandage tie. He wears bandaged scraps as a shirt beneath a purple kimono robe.
Shoot is timid and often hesitates to seize an opening against an enemy; by his own admission he dislikes hurting people. He described his own condition as voluntary confinement in a cage — afraid of danger and of opportunity alike, muffling even his own words so that nobody could hurt him.
His combat ability is nonetheless considerable: he briefly held his own alone against Menthuthuyoupi of the Royal Guard. By targeting the eyes he creates blind spots to exploit in the attacks that follow. Voiced by Yūji Ueda.
