Synopsis

Kite was a professional Hunter and a disciple of Ging Freecss — the man who saved a young Gon from a Foxbear on Whale Island and first told the boy the truth about his father.

He was a tall, slender man in his late twenties or early thirties, thin to the point of gauntness, with long flowing white hair whose longest locks reached his knees. He had an inverted-triangle face with a hooked nose, a pointed chin and large almond eyes with small hazel irises, and wore a light blue peaked cap, a white turtleneck shirt and an azure sash wound three times round his waist.

Kite was stern and stoic, occasionally blunt enough to come across as rude. He only seemed cold-hearted — in fact he was caring, and as fond of animals as they were of him. Experience kept him permanently alert, and he never hesitated when a life had to be taken.

He does not know where he was born. Becoming Ging's disciple, by his own account, saved him from dying in a pestilent alley and taught him the rudiments of the trade. In the few years after passing the exam he discovered 68 new species.

His En reaches a radius of roughly 45 metres. He was killed in NGL by Neferpitou. Voiced by Shū'ichi Ikeda in the 2011 series and Yūji Kishi in the 1999 one.
