Synopsis
Ragyou Kiryuuin is the main antagonist of Kill la Kill, the wife of Souichirou Kiryuuin, mother of Satsuki and Ryuuko, and head of both the Revocs Corporation and Honnouji Academy.
Ragyou is the embodiment of luxury and disdain, flaunting her wealth and power without restraint while treating those beneath her with an indulgence that can turn cruel in an instant. Her devotion to the Life Fibers is absolute, to the point of using her own newborn daughters as test subjects; human life, including her own, holds no real value to her.
As a young woman Ragyou took on the role of guardian of the Primordial Life Fiber, later marrying Souichirou to make use of his scientific talent and beginning experiments to fuse her own children with Life Fibers. It was Ragyou who ordered Nui Harime to kill the husband who had betrayed her plans and steal his final invention.
