Synopsis
Nui Harime is a secondary antagonist of Kill la Kill, the Grand Couturier of the Revocs Corporation and the murderer of Isshin Matoi, Ryuuko's father. She is the one who took one half of the Scissor Blade for herself, making her the person Ryuuko is most determined to hunt down.
Nui behaves with a childlike, playful friendliness toward everyone, allies and enemies alike, casually revealing to Ryuuko that she killed her father as though it were a minor detail. That cheerful nonchalance hides a sadistic appetite for violence and formidable combat skill; when injured or outmatched, her carefree mask drops instantly into frantic rage.
Grown from an artificial Life Fiber womb on Ragyou Kiryuuin's orders, Nui was raised into her devoted servant. During the raid on Isshin's laboratory she lost an eye to a strike from the Scissor Blade before fatally wounding the scientist herself, an event that later sets Ryuuko on her path of vengeance.
