Hendrickson

Hendrickson is a former Great Holy Knight of Liones and the mastermind behind the New Generation, a secret program built on the power of demon blood. Alongside his lifelong friend Dreyfus, he orchestrated the murder of the previous Great Holy Knight, Zaratras, and framed the Seven Deadly Sins for the crime, all in pursuit of a war he believed his order needed in order to have a purpose.

Once a shy, gentle Druid boy who feared the dead bodies he was tasked with guarding, Hendrickson grew colder and more manipulative after helping kill Zaratras, willing to lie to allies and enemies alike and treat even his king as an obstacle. His ambition eventually leads him to absorb demon power himself and free the Demon Clan from its ancient prison, making him the primary antagonist of the Holy Knights arc.

After his defeat, much of his original personality resurfaces: stripped of his corrupting power, Hendrickson is left racked with guilt, and he spends the following years trying to atone, protecting the people he once endangered and eventually opening a medical practice in Liones.
