Hawk

Hawk is a talking pig who works, and later co-owns, the Boar Hat tavern alongside Meliodas, originally tasked with cleaning up the food scraps customers leave behind. He turns out to be a creature from Purgatory, stolen as an infant by the Demon King to secretly watch over his son, which makes him the long-lost younger brother of the giant sow known as Hawk Mama.

Hawk is proud and easily wounded in his ego, insisting he is stronger than the Seven Deadly Sins even though he is quickly frightened whenever a genuinely powerful enemy shows up. He is quick to anger when Meliodas acts inappropriately toward the women around him, but underneath the bluster he is deeply loyal and, true to his nickname, something of a mama's boy who calls out for Hawk Mama whenever he is in trouble.

Hawk's own power, Transpork, only awakens later in the story, letting him fight rather than simply provide comic relief, and after years spent growing up in Purgatory he eventually reaches a size that rivals his mother's. Despite his rough manners, he remains one of the emotional anchors of the Boar Hat and a loyal companion to the Sins throughout their journey.
