Synopsis
Gotoh was one of the Zoldyck family's most trusted butlers, born in Meteor City — the junkyard settlement whose residents appear in no official record. Leorio nicknamed him Coin Bastard after his signature trick.
He was a tall man in his thirties with sharp eyes, a trimmed beard and combed-back black hair, dressed in a black formal suit and pointed-frame glasses.
Enigmatic and quietly intimidating, Gotoh was as courteous as a butler should be but immovable on matters of the family's security and secrecy. Behind the cool exterior ran a temper every bit as hot as Leorio's — Gotoh simply kept it in check. It was he who refused to fetch Killua when Gon called the estate.
As a senior servant he held authority over much of the estate's staff. He was also an outstanding fighter with extremely fast hands and reflexes, and durable enough to walk away unharmed after a truck slammed into the car he was in. Voiced by Kenyu Horiuchi in the 2011 series and Takashi Matsuyama in the 1999 one.
