Diane

Diane is the Serpent's Sin of Envy, a member of the Giant Clan whose towering natural size sets her apart from her human-sized companions among the Seven Deadly Sins. Her Sacred Treasure, the war hammer Gideon, channels her power Creation, which she uses to shape earth and stone into shields, walls or weapons on the battlefield.

Warm and openly affectionate, Diane treats most Holy Knights as beneath her in strength while adoring her captain, Meliodas, sometimes to comedic effect. Underneath her confidence lies a deep fear of loneliness, rooted in a childhood spent waiting for King to return to her side, and she can turn fiercely protective the moment anyone she loves is threatened, human or not.

Diane's story becomes intertwined with the fate of the Giant Clan itself: after the former Giant King's death, she is acknowledged as his successor and effectively becomes the clan's new leader. Her long, complicated feelings for King eventually turn into marriage, uniting the Giant and Fairy Clans and giving her a large family of her own alongside her comrades in the Seven Deadly Sins.
