Synopsis
Ryunosuke Chiba is a student in Class 3-E at Kunugigaoka Junior High School, a rookie sniper known for his serious, quiet demeanor. Alongside his partner Rinka Hayami, he's often compared to a working adult, though he speaks somewhat more than she does.
Despite his reserved nature, Chiba pays close attention to the small details in people's behavior. This shows clearly in a moment when he notices Karma Akabane sulking over a bad grade and cheers him up by egging him on to mock Korosensei's home economics scores instead.
Little is revealed about his family beyond having several siblings, but Chiba and Hayami are trained together as the class's dedicated marksmen, and their coordinated sniping repeatedly saves their classmates during both drills and real confrontations. After the year ends, he goes on to become an architect, leaving his sharpshooting days behind.
